La Pupila del Ser: Inflexiones de Sombra y Luz | The Pupil of Being: Shadow and Light Inflections [ESP-ING]

La vida se trata de perspectiva. No es lo que vemos, es lo que somos y reflejamos. No es que miremos de una forma en particular, sino que, según nuestro _estar_, miramos de un modo en particular, con una perspectiva singular. Vivir el "Aquí y Ahora" se vuelve mágico y transformador, la mirada simplemente la habitamos. Es muy curioso todo lo que he venido trabajando internamente desde que me he tomado estos ejercicios de introspección con responsabilidad. Esto solo nos revela una cosa: El poder interno. Tenemos el poder de elegir nuestros pensamientos y emociones, y desde allí, interpretar respecto a la experiencia que queramos vivir, independientemente de la realidad exterior.

Life is about perspective. It's not what we see, it's what we are and reflect. It is not that we look in a particular way, but that, according to our being, we look in a particular way, with a singular perspective. Living the “Here and Now” becomes magical and transformative, the gaze we simply inhabit. It is very curious all that I have been working internally since I have been taking these exercises of introspection with responsibility. This only reveals one thing: The power within. We have the power to choose our thoughts and emotions, and from there, to interpret with respect to the experience we want to live, independently of the external reality.

En este recorrido logré apreciar lo que crece de manera espontánea, no hay límites para ello, la naturaleza lo hace sin medir el entorno. El entorno no nos define, sino lo que hacemos con eso para nuestro crecimiento. Muchas veces son espacios oscuros dentro de nosotros que nos abordamos por miedo; sin embargo, desde esa sombra podemos recuperar la confianza y construir una nueva identidad. Esta reflexión me llevó a pensar en la posibilidad de que solo depende de sí mismo y no del exterior, tampoco de nuestros patrones mentales antiguos. En esta oportunidad, la cámara me llevó a mirar a través de los ojos del progreso.

In this tour I was able to appreciate what grows spontaneously, there are no limits to it, nature does it without measuring the environment. The environment does not define us, but what we do with it for our growth. Many times there are dark spaces within us that we approach out of fear; however, from that shadow we can regain confidence and build a new identity. This reflection led me to think about the possibility that it only depends on oneself and not on the outside, nor on our old mental patterns. In this opportunity, the camera led me to look through the eyes of progress.

Los "fallos" que hayamos podido cometer solo nos empuja a la persistencia, a continuar sin dejar de ver el objetivo, pase lo pase en el camino. Este sendero nos llevará a rompernos totalmente con los antiguos patrones e identidad que no nos dejan avanzar. El hacer se logra teniendo antes, asumir ese estado para cultivarlos dentro de nosotros, y así hacer que germine día tras día, sin ansiedad. La certeza nos hará recordar constantemente por qué empezamos el camino. Cada fotografía es un recordatorio silente para tener presente el propósito, para hacer crecer la confianza de que las cosas son posibles, y que los eventos de la vida son solo para moldearnos hacia lo que queremos.

The “failures” that we may have committed only push us to persistence, to continue without losing sight of the goal, no matter what happens along the way. This path will lead us to break completely with the old patterns and identity that do not let us move forward. Doing is achieved by having before, to assume that state to cultivate them within us, and thus make them germinate day after day, without anxiety. The certainty will make us constantly remember why we started the path. Each photograph is a silent reminder to keep the purpose in mind, to grow the confidence that things are possible, and that the events of life are only to mold us towards what we want.

¿Produce miedo todo esto? Por supuesto, es increíble cómo todo ese ruido hay que combatirlo de manera consciente y compasión hacia sí mismo, sin juicios. Intentar eliminar ese ruido es crear resistencia; es más incómodo. La vida nos va empujando a ser más conscientes y menos ingenuos, a vivir plenamente desde la honestidad con nosotros mismos. Externamente, afuera puede pasar de todo, pero dentro de nosotros algo está brotando. A pesar de que no lo veamos en el momento, el tiempo y la determinación nos lo harán saber en el momento más inesperado. Esta nueva Pupila del Ser no es una exhibición fotográfica más, es mi inflexión de sombra y luz.

Is all this scary? Of course, it's amazing how all that noise has to be fought with awareness and compassion towards oneself, without judgment. Trying to eliminate that noise is creating resistance; it is more uncomfortable. Life is pushing us to be more conscious and less naive, to live fully from honesty with ourselves. Externally, anything can happen outside, but inside us something is sprouting. Although we may not see it at the moment, time and determination will let us know at the most unexpected moment. This new Pupil of Being is not just another photographic exhibition, it is my inflection of shadow and light.
