Hoy en día, la música ha alcanzado altos niveles de exigencia, sobre todo para las presentaciones en vivo. Las bandas en proceso de éxito cada vez más deben hacer un esfuerzo extra para captar la atención del público asistente en sus presentaciones. No es solo presentar la música, es crear un diálogo musical con el espectador, donde lo visual crea el universo musical de la banda. He trabajado en proyecciones multimedia para algunos artistas, y es un mundo paralelo, es pensar en lo visual desde el audio.

Today, music has reached high standards, especially for live performances. Bands in the process of success increasingly must make an extra effort to capture the attention of the audience in their presentations. It's not just about presenting the music, it's about creating a musical dialogue with the audience, where the visuals create the musical universe of the band. I have worked on multimedia projections for some artists, and it is a parallel world, it is thinking about the visual from the audio.

La emoción de la canción me da el punto de partida para proponer un concepto visual, apoyándome en las ideas aisladas de los artistas. Estructuro las secuencias visuales en función del tema musical en el que trabajo, así le doy acompañamiento enérgico a lo visual a la par del audio. Una ventaja de la música en vivo de hoy en día, es el empleo de secuencias, permitiendo así mayor precisión y exactitud con la interpretación de los temas, además, que facilita mucho para que el visual esté sincronizado con la música de manera muy fácil.

The emotion of the song gives me the starting point to propose a visual concept, relying on the isolated ideas of the artists. I structure the visual sequences according to the musical theme I am working on, thus giving an energetic accompaniment to the visuals along with the audio. An advantage of today's live music is the use of sequences, allowing greater precision and accuracy with the interpretation of the songs, in addition, it makes it much easier for the visual to be synchronized with the music in a very easy way.

¿Cuál es la idea de todo esto? Ser capaz de convertir la presentación de la banda en una experiencia inmersiva; incrementar el impacto en el público. No es simplemente hacer una edición visual que sirva de decoración, sino todo lo contrario: que los lenguajes estén unificados para lograr una atmósfera coherente para una comunicación más eficaz. Finalmente, es un contenido que le da vida a las presentaciones en vivo. En mi caso, escucho el tema infinidades de veces para lograr traducir la intención sonora en imágenes. Así, de esta manera, entiendo los cambios de ritmo, las emociones expresadas, los silencios, el clímax, entre otros elementos que pueda percibir.

What is the idea of all this? To be able to turn the band's presentation into an immersive experience; to increase the impact on the audience. It is not simply a visual edition that serves as decoration, but the opposite: that the languages are unified to achieve a coherent atmosphere for a more effective communication. Finally, it is content that gives life to live presentations. In my case, I listen to the theme an infinite number of times in order to translate the sound intention into images. Thus, in this way, I understand the changes of rhythm, the emotions expressed, the silences, the climax, among other elements that I can perceive.

Esta herramienta es muy poderosa porque también puede ser usada como un recurso promocional. Los fragmentos pueden usarse para generar expectativas en redes sociales. Este tipo de contenido aporta mucho profesionalismo a la banda o artista. En la actualidad no es suficiente que las canciones suenen bien, es importante y vital crear una presencia integral en todos u cada uno de los espacios de comunicación que tiene la banda para captar a su público objetivo. En estos tiempos este tipo de recursos no son para nada un lujo, son casi una prioridad. El audiovisual es el aliado perfecto para que la música proyecte más energía.

This tool is very powerful because it can also be used as a promotional resource. The snippets can be used to generate expectations on social networks. This type of content brings a lot of professionalism to the band or artist. Nowadays it is not enough that the songs sound good, it is important and vital to create a comprehensive presence in each and every one of the communication spaces that the band has to capture their target audience. In these times this type of resources are not at all a luxury, they are almost a priority. The audiovisual is the perfect ally for the music to project more energy.
