Todo ocurre desde que se llega al lugar, esperar la hora justa de apertura del concierto, es un momento que se va construyendo mágico, que se va construyendo con la energía del público ansioso. Aun sin tener la cámara en mano, se va entrando en sintonía con el momento, construyendo imaginariamente lo que se podría hacer, manejando todas las posibilidades para hacer buenas fotografías.

La Sala del Grillo de la Corporación Cultural Atabanza es un lugar muy acogedor, pero algo reducido, por lo que es vital ingeniármela para buscar ángulos y composiciones fotográficas variadas. Con el pasar de las canciones, todo el espectáculo se va soltando, tanto en la interacción entre los músicos como con el público; todo se convierte en oportunidades fotográficas para captar el momento presente. Para mí es muy importante lograr capturar la espontaneidad, lograr un equilibrio entre lo técnico y el instante, intentando adelantar a los movimientos de los músicos.

The Sala del Grillo of the Atabanza Cultural Corporation is a very cozy place, but a bit cramped, so it is vital to find angles and varied photographic compositions. As the songs go by, the whole show becomes looser, both in the interaction between the musicians and the audience; everything becomes photographic opportunities to capture the present moment. For me it is very important to capture the spontaneity, to achieve a balance between the technical and the instant, trying to anticipate the movements of the musicians.

Finalmente, conversar con los artistas al final del concierto es una experiencia extra que la añade una conexión especial a la jornada fotográfica. He procurado establecer esta relación al final de cada evento para enriquecer la perspectiva fotográfica. En esta oportunidad, la agrupación musical decidió hacer una sesión fotográfica fuera del concierto, fotos que luego les presentaré. Al estar en casa, reposado y tranquilo, al revisar las fotos realizadas, me lleno de gratificación y gratitud por el momento vivido y por las nuevas personas que se suman a mi entorno relacionado con el arte.

Finally, talking with the artists at the end of the concert is an extra experience that adds a special connection to the photographic journey. I have tried to establish this relationship at the end of each event to enrich the photographic perspective. On this occasion, the band decided to do a photo session outside the concert, photos that I will present to you later. Being at home, rested and calm, when reviewing the photos taken, I am filled with gratification and gratitude for the moment lived and for the new people who join my environment related to art.
