Desde esa premisa, procuro que la experiencia fotográfica resalte los detalles más relevantes de cada producto, sobre todo texturas y colores, hacerlas tan vivas que se pueda lograr percibir con la memoria el aroma desde la imagen. Evocar sensaciones es crucial, intentar capturar la esencia de cada receta para mostrar aquello que no se ve a simple vista, es un proceso que se crea antes de accionar el obturador. La intención, premeditada, es una invitación para dar a conocer las particularidades de las distintas recetas, originarias de Brasil.

The photographic sessions of gastronomic products is an experience that seeks to highlight all those elements that awaken the senses. From that premise, I try to make the photographic experience highlight the most relevant details of each product, especially textures and colors, making them so vivid that the aroma can be perceived with the memory from the image. Evoking sensations is crucial, trying to capture the essence of each recipe to show that which is not visible to the naked eye, is a process that is created before the shutter is pressed. The intention, premeditated, is an invitation to make known the particularities of the different recipes, originally from Brazil.

Soslayar lo básico de la fotografía no es permitido en ninguna sesión, la composición, enfoque, una iluminación adecuada para generar un buen contraste, manejar los colores adecuadamente, la velocidad y todo ese aspecto técnico que conocemos que se involucra en el proceso, son vitales para captar no solo lo visual, sino para lograr transcender la imagen. Considero que una de las claves para cuidar los detalles de composición ha sido conocer la autenticidad de cada receta. Utilizar elementos que suman al contexto, colores que haga resaltar los colores del producto, ayudaron a darle fuerza a cada imagen.

I consider that one of the keys to take care of the details of composition has been to know the authenticity of each recipe. La sesión se desarrolló de forma muy espontánea, no se construyó un set como tal, sino que se fue buscando un espacio adecuado para cada producto. La idea era darle el protagonismo al producto lo más posible, destacarlo de tal modo, que la imagen, por sí misma, haga una invitación a probarlos. Hacer las fotografías atractivas es clave para conectar con los potenciales consumidores. El objetivo es poder impulsar las ventas, que las fotografías no solo muestren los productos, sino activar las sensaciones que motiven la compra. A mi juicio, creo que se logró capturar la esencia de cada receta, resaltando los sabores que destacaban de la preparación.

The session was developed in a very spontaneous way, we did not build a set as such, but we were looking for a suitable space for each product. The idea was to give the product as much prominence as possible, to highlight it in such a way that the image, by itself, makes an invitation to try them. Making the photographs attractive is key to connect with potential consumers. The objective is to be able to drive sales, that the photographs not only show the products, but also activate the sensations that motivate the purchase. In my opinion, I think they managed to capture the essence of each recipe, highlighting the flavors that stood out in the preparation.

La creatividad estimuló mucho esta sesión, transmitir la autenticidad de los sabores fue un reto dado a las limitaciones que se tenían en el momento. Al finalizar la edición de cada una de las fotos, considero que se logró capturar los esos detalles auténticos de cada preparación, invitando a la memoria a imaginar los sabores. El resultado, en líneas generales, me confirma que una buena fotografía ayuda a impulsar ventas, que ayuda a conectar con el consumidor, activando la curiosidad y el apetito de las personas por probar sabores distintos.

Creativity stimulated a lot this session, transmitting the authenticity of the flavors was a challenge given the limitations we had at the time. At the end of the editing of each of the photos, I consider that we were able to capture the authentic details of each preparation, inviting the memory to imagine the flavors.
