Weekend Play.(Work and Fun)

For a few days now, we've been hearing about the revival of a children's amusement park that's very close to our house (a five-minute walk), but between one thing and another, we hadn't been able to go and take a look and see the changes that had taken place at the park, which until recently had been dilapidated and dysfunctional.

Well, it turns out that a few days ago my wife received a call from work offering her a job working for children at that park, along with another guy who's a clown.

They also needed someone to operate the audio system for the small show they were supposed to present. And so we all signed up to work on Saturday, but not at home as usual; at the park, of course. Not everyone would be working; the children would be enjoying themselves.

There aren't many places to take children to have some healthy fun away from the shadows of technology and the digital influences of YouTubers and influencers.

So we already had a plan for Saturday and although it would be work, it would also be fun, first because my wife loves what she does and I love watching her do it, and second because it would be something different for the children in an open space that, although it didn't have too many attractions, would provide distractions and social interaction for the little ones, in addition to contributing to the expenditure of that amount of energy and intensity that only children always have.

Well, once there everything was supposed to be simple, work and fun, let's do it. Nature had some other plans though and rain was constantly threatening, clouds covered the sun many times and even a few drops fell, but guess the children's joy and laughter's and jumps and screams and all that crazyness was prove enough for nature to contain her cry and turn the cloudy threatening Saturday into a shiny one.

I won't use words to detailly describe what happened in the presentation that included interactive games with the childrens, small stories telling, singing, jokes and even dancing. I'll let some pictures and a small video to be on charge of transmitting the idea of how the events took place.

Happiness faces in childrens is one of the best gifts life can give us, being our own children or any other, that joy in their looks and their smiles is so contagious and nice to see.
