A saturday prayer for the faith departed.

It's a calmed Saturday and there isn't any plans for the day but the usuals. There'll be movement this evening though, as most of the latter times it will be fun and work. But it counts and provides as well.

Doesn't it happens to you sometimes that every time you play some music you end up listening to the same long genre-mixed playlist from which you already know the playing order?

Wether the straight or the random playing order.
It does happen to me a lot, since I dayly listen to music and mostly mix genres and artists to keep myself away from boring( just a few artists that I can listen to more than 4 songs straight in a row).

So, as it's a calmed Saturday I got myself into renewing my mixes, the ones that hang out with me everyday inside my phone waiting for their turn to help me out somehow( music helps me out a lot).
Anyway, I seated at the computer and started digging around and playing songs at random to get the job done, then I found the Bon Jovi's folder and when played It's my life some good memories came to my mind from my youth(well, my younger youth). That's why I used a line of that song in the title of the post.

When younger I think we valued music more than youngsters do now. At the time playing music devices of any kind were not common to see or to have, so when any member of our young tribe heard in the distance any "can ringing" the sommoning whistle call of one of the members occurred to move us towards the origin of the sound to enjoy the pleasure of listening to some music and maybe dancing a bit(or a lot).

Introverted

I have a friend that didn't like me before being my friend, he said I was too serious, to challenging and too introverted. He had the impression I believed myself better than the others, but he was wrong, that was just my young character and me being afraid to face the world. I didn't was very good in relationship-building, took a lot to me to start and hold a conversation with any stranger, specially with a chick. That changed years later.

Rock stars.

That friend I refer to and his brother managed to build a music device that sounded both, loud and nice. Every afternoon they played it at their house front and we all gathered there to sing (off tune scream) Guns n' Rose's and Bon Jovi's songs among others band's(Nirvana, Metallica, Foreigner, Air Supply,etc), but those 2 bands hitted us hard since we were both, learning English and leaving our hairs grow in our way to becoming rock stars, they were the most popular among us back then(Still are).

Of course we didn't become rock stars, but we did have very good times and enjoyed very good music.

So, today's search helped me both, to renewing my hanging out playlists(even though with old good music, which is ok for me)and traveling back in time to that front house where our heads almost fell off our necks as we thought we were rock stars. You know the circled and crazy rocked move right?

Already gave you the first, I'll split my #saturdayselections in two. Meaning 2 prefered songs of each band I mentioned, which is difficult cause I liked many of their songs.
