DTIYS Entry: School Girl

Hey creative friends,

I made my entry for the DTIYS Challenge of @boley. I love the interesting look of the reference drawing it looks like a tree with a body of a boy I thought it is quite challenging and so I made my own version

For my own recreation, I really wanted to draw a girl instead of a school boy. I made the branches on the head shorter somewhat hair like. I made one branch go wild and unruly that mimics hair then added a pink ribbon on the side of the head.

The biggest challenge was probably is trying to make it appear like a tree with bark like texture on the face and limbs, but I had so much fun experimenting with the dress and accessories. I think I love it.
