Beauties of Balat from Past to Present/ Geçmişten Günümüze Gelen Balat Güzellemeleri

The school holiday has been continuing for a week with heavy snowfall. Today, training was suspended for 1 day due to cold weather and rain. The weather is so cold that it is difficult to get heat even inside houses. I read books at home to motivate myself. Then I visited my gallery. Today I will tell you about the Balat district that I visited in Istanbul during the semester break. Balat is in the Fatih district on the European side of Istanbul. Although Istanbul is a megacity, the Balat district seemed extremely quiet and peaceful. I was surprised that its streets were quiet. It has such a fascinating atmosphere that it is magnificent. It is a quiet district, full of beauty, with visual feasts and many photographic details.

Bir haftadır okul tatili yoğun kar yağışı ile devam ediyor. Bugün de soğuk hava etkisi ve yağış nedeni ile eğitime 1 gün ara verildi. Havalar o kadar soğuk ki evlerin içi bile ısınması zor oluyor. kendimi motive etmek için evde kitap okudum. Sonra galerimi gezdim. Bugün sömestr tatilinde İstanbul'da gezdiğim Balat semtini anlatacağım. Balat İstanbulun Avrupa Yakasında, Fatih ilçesindedir. İstanbul megakent bir şehir olmasına rağmen Balat semti aşırı sessiz ve huzur verici gelmişti. Sokaklarının sessiz olmasına şaşırmıştım. O kadar büyüleyici bir havası var ki muazzam. Sessiz, görsel şölenleri olan, fotoğraflık bir sürü detayı olan, güzellikleriyle dolu bir semt.

The visual feast of the colorful stairs I encountered was very pleasing to the eye. The young man who sang and played the guitar there made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. After standing on the stairs for a while, we decided to go up. It was a bit rough. But when we got there and reached the location where the colorful houses were, it was worth climbing the bumpy stairs. Some of the houses were very good, some were old buildings. He even used one stove from home. Smoke was billowing from the stove pipes. I was a little surprised because I wasn't expecting it. But I think the old buildings were being repaired instead of being rebuilt in order to preserve the structure.

Karşıma çıkan renkli merdivenlerinin görşel şöleni göze çok güzel hitap ediyordu. Orda şarkı söyleyen gitar çalan genç ortamı daha da keyifli hale getirmişti. Biraz merdivenlerde durduktan sonra yukarı çıkalım dedik. Bir tık engebeydi. Ama orayı çıkıp renkli evlerin olduğu konuma gelince engebe merdivenlerden çıkmaya değmişti. Evler bazıları çok iyi bazıları eski yapılardı. Hatta bir tane evden soba kullanıyordu. Soba borularından duman tütüyordu. Birazcık şaşırdım çünkü beklemiyordum. Ama sanırım yapıyı korumak için eski binaları tekrar yapılmak yerine onarılıyordu.

And we came to the place where the movie I loved watching in my childhood was shot. It was even better than it looked. After taking a few pictures here, we entered the side neighborhood. There were beautiful wooden painted ornaments. And cats were used a lot in these decorations. I loved the Balat district very much. It is a place that can leave beautiful memories in your life with its colorful houses and its peaceful and quiet tranquility. In fact, we were told that we should be a little cautious at first. Ve çocukluğumda severek seyrettiğim filmin çekildiği yere gelmiştik. Göründüğünden daha da iyiydi. Burda bir kaç resim aldıktan sonra ara mahalleye girdik. Çok güzel ahşaptan boyama yapımı süsleme eşyalar vardı. Ve bu süslemelerde kediler çokça kullanılmıştı.
Ben Balat semtini çok sevdim. Hayatınız da rengarenk evleriyle, huzurlu sessiz sakinliğiyle güzel hatıralar bırakabilecek bir yer.
Aslında ilk başta biraz temkinli olmamız gerektiği söylendi. Sessiz olduğuna bakmayın diye çok şükür kötü bişey yaşamadan gezimizi tamamladık.
