Student Returns 90 Solana Mistakenly Sent to Him

Hey folks.
A chemical engineering student in Nigeria, Anjola Femi, recently returned crypto worth $14k, which was mistakenly sent to his account by a crypto trader.
According to the influencer and crypto trader calling himself "The Crypto Network", Femi had won Solana tokens valued at $100 in one of the former's crypto giveaway promotions. However, the trader accidentally sent 100 Solana tokens.
The influencer upon realizing his mistake reached out to Femi and asked him for the return of 90 Solana and keep the rest. Femi after observing the request, the influencer shared details of this moment with his followers on X which are more than 174,000.
The influencer shared:
“Lucky sent me back 90 solana. There is still hope in the crypto community, that is insane, an anonymous individual who is a supporter of mine, a follower of mine [has returned the 90 SOL.] Thank you man,”
I don't know about the matter more but I guess he shouldn't have kept the rest of 10 Solana with him. He was supposed to send the whole 100 Solana tokens back to the influencer.
Some well-wishers were taken aback by Femi's honesty and started sending tips to The Crypto Network's cryptocurrency wallet as soon as the latter posted a video in which he thanked the former. As of the time of writing, Femi reportedly had a gift credit balance of more than $5,000.
Femi defied a widespread practice in the cryptocurrency space where recipients either spend or refuse to return assets that were given in error by returning the money. Some recipients of mistakenly sent funds that have been paid in error will only cooperate when local courts or law police step in, as demonstrated by the case involving Crypto.com and an Australian woman.
Femi when asked why he agreed to return the 90 Solana, reportedly he said that refusing to do so would have gone against his values like honesty, which he "holds dear".

I only heard about the costly error the user made sending an incorrect amount of solana.
It's encouraging to hear there still are honest people in the world who understand how costly making a mistake can be.
Lesson: Always check twice, or trice, when sending crypto!

Yes. Lucky for him getting his funds back.
Yep, double check is very important making transactions and also one's focus should only be on the transaction rather than talking to someone else or thinking something else during the transaction.
Thanks for the support :)
