This is said to be signifying a shift in financial accessibility, allowing access to millions of users to USDC and initiating more rapid, cost-effective transactions via Base, Coinbase's decentralized Layer 2 (L2) infrastructure.
Because of this expansion crypto enthusiasts in Africa are even more excited because approximately half of the continent’s population will soon be able to buy USDC directly from the Coinbase Wallet app.
