Wednesday Walk - (almost) Winter sun in North Melbourne

I had to be out of the house as my wife had a virtual meeting, and anyway I didn't to go pick up my car from the mechanic, so why not combine the two, wander through the streets of North Melbourne in Australia with a camera in hand?

Let's see what I find...

A nice simple shot to start us off, a tree which is just thinking about maybe dropping it's leaves, late to the party of course.

This is fairly typical Melbourne Late May weather, our winters have beautiful clear blue skies, but it's cold (for Australia) it's maybe 14 degrees in the afternoon today, but early in the morning, say pre 8am it will be 1-2 degrees and it will drop again from about 4pm. Anyway the point is it's not warm enough to have your window open.

I love this building, it is so North Melbourne, a old factory or warehouse shell that was worth nothing 30 years ago, renovated by the very people who would have avoided this suburb back then and now work millions.

But walk a little further west and there is still those factories, maybe filled with industry, maybe, more likely just waiting to be torn down to make way for the apartment once that new station opens.
