The Loneliness of Water

These photos are not taken in the same place, there is maybe 300km which sperate them, they are not taken at the same time, 5 months between them, but they do speak to the same emotion, the same thing that is being portrayed, that this is loneliness, the concept of something rigid, solid cast adrift in the a body of water, isolated.

One is natural, the sea, okay contained in a bay, but potentially more rugged, more open to the elements. The other, is man made, a huge damn wall is just out of shot, the the trees a conscious decision to be planted, not the haphazard nature, or well, nature.
