The Couple

The Couple 1 (1 of 1).jpg

As a photographer (or at the very least a guy with a camera in my hand) it is always interesting to think about whether other people notice you.

There is the concept in street photography of being invisible which frankly isn't hard, most people are too focused on what they are doing to notice you, but is it different when the subject of your photo is a photographer themselves, should they notice you, have the noticed you, are you a part of their art the same way they are part of yours.

Do they see themselves in you, the person hunting the best shot, examining, A couple just like you, okay with the genders reversed but the patient one waiting as the photographer tries to get it just right.

Did she notice at the time, the guy dressed in block colours, no logos, blacks, greys the occasional blue, nothing that dates the shot, nothing to distract, things that compliment the environment, Sure I could have worn Yellow but then the environments are limited, how often will you get a faded yellow wall to stand in front of?

not sure is it a photographer thing, i have the six sense for cameras around me :)

did she wait for that perfect shot where she would be alone there?

is this cheating if no one knows? or is it ok if you tell everyone? the rules were weird for years, but with what tech can do now...
