New Plymouth, a town of street art
New Plymouth is a town on the west coast of the north island of New Zealand, not too far from Mount Taranaki, and I'm here to tell you it's a fascinating place, it has great resturants, a couple of good breweries, so amazing architecture and a cool vibe, and that vibe is helped by some good street art so let's have a look at some
This was a nice large scale work on the side of a building, better still it was elevated off the street so it's remainder fairly clean.
A pretty cool little alleyway with some nice pieces in it, I like the cats/gremlins/monsters - it gave me some keith haring vibes, this is also the sort of place where these types of pieces should live.
I like the organic nature of this piece, how it weaves it's way around the built architecture, it's clever and playful.
This is my favourite piece or pieces, and I love this shot of it, a warm autumn sun fading in the late afternoon illuninating part of the piece, this is like catnip for me. the face in the light, in the shadows stalking the man watching.
Great selection, perfect city with StreetArt and local breweries 😀 Thanks for sharing these pics on The StreetArt Community.
Have a great day
