More Guggenheim - On an Overcast Day
The Guggenheim in Bilbao is one of the more photogenic buildings I've seen, so many angles, so many reflections, so many ways that the light plays with metal cladding, I literally had maybe 100 shots of it when I got home, the process of narrowing this is very difficult but let's look at some more
This is the side facing the water, which isn't actually a entrance but sort of looks like one. This was on day 1 when with sky was overcast and the building was super bronzey
One of the folds of the walls/roof, this is part of what makes this building so weird, everything is fluid.
Maybe this would work in black and white, but then you lose the sense of the bronze and what it does even on overcast days
Not an angle you see often, but was actually our approach to the building, there is a road right next to it, as a pedestrain if you have walked along the river, this is the first sense that you get that there is something going on.
I should also say the red dots in the pond aren't always there, they were promoting the Kusama exhibition which was showing inside, and was amazing
