There is something about a 1970's church that gets to me, maybe it is the memories of my youth although I'm not old enough to remember being in a church in the 1970's and the one I do remember for the was not much older than that but far more classical, yet somehow felt more modern.

Maybe it reminds me of a time in San Francisco 15 years ago of discovering a church quite by accident.

And I guess this was a little like that as well, walking around Whanganui in New Zealand, not really sure what we were looking for or what to expect and then this, a classic 1970's church
