A Couple More Statues from Italy - this time Modica

I have to admit I like the 'Let's chuck a ring of steel behind their heads becuase you know they are saints, Combine that with a Clear blue sky and I think this all works

From the side it does lot like this 'Saint' is about to give someone a back hander, which is you know, not very saintly at all.
