My "Chibi Manananggal" Artwork for the Spooky Song Contest

Recently, I joined a Spooky Song Contest hosted by one of the Hivers I follow on my main account, @tegoshei. We had to talk about our favorite spooky song. If you're interested in joining the contest and share your favorite spooky song, you may check the contest post HERE.

Anyway, for my entry, I created a little sketch of a chibi manananggal, so I'm going to share the art process or progress here. I hope you enjoy it.

As I've explained in my contest post, manananggal is a mythical creature in the Philippine folklore. They're mostly women who could cut their bodies in half. The upper part grows a pair of wings that allows them to fly. They go on top of people's roof, especially those with a pregnant woman inside. They usually eat the fetus using their long tongues.

Anyway, my drawing is a cute chibi version, so there's nothing to be scared of. hahahaha

I made this cute chibi artwork using the Medibang Paint app.
