Hello All,

Hope you all are doing good and safe.

Today is Holi - festival of colours. I wish you all a happy Holi. There is an ancient story behind this festival and it’s celebrated in different ways in different parts of India. One think that all have common is that everyone colour each other. This represents equality.

We celebrated Holi too. Everyone in our neighbourhood joined together in club house where we had all the arrangement like water, food, colour and most importantly a DJ to dance. Everybody coloured each other and danced. It was a very good celebration.

With these words, I am sharing day 576 post of my I am alive challenge.

Interesting, but what do you paint? Your faces or all the body? Is only between men?

We use special dry colors and color each other which includes everyone - men, women and kids. Usually it’s the face which is colored but people go beyond that too and color the entire body as well 😀

Sounds like you had an amazing Holi celebration.
It's such a beautiful festival that truly brings people together.
The way you described the gathering with colors, dancing and joy, makes it feel so lively.
