SON EMULATING HIS FATHER HANDWORK//CRAFTING OF A PALM WITH SON.

Good day fellow hive users.
It my first post here on creative spark community where we have creative users that are born with different talent, reading through this community,I can see alot of creative works here which make this community one of the top creative community on hive Blockchain.
Am Harhess by name and a professional shoemaker which I am capable of using leather to craft different creative works,I am happy to be dropping my first post here on hive Blockchain and I extend my greetings to all member and admin @yablonsky of this great community.
Today I will like to share to the community how my son love to emulate my creative skills,he is just a kid but he have show that he love what his father do for a living which is shoemaking.

A very faithful weekend he decided to follow me to my office which he stay focus while and crafting a footwear and he assists in few cutting of leather and hammering.
MATERIALS

Leather
Thick linen
THE MAKING
UPPER MAKING
Start with the cutting of the leather to the design we want to make which I cut and my son looks how I cut it,after cutting the design,I apply gum to the upper and the thick linen then gum together then we sew the edges with sewing machine which is shown from the picture below.

INSOLE AND SOLE MAKING
The sole is a readymade sole so we will only make our insoles by using the sole to cut out our Marko 6 then we fold with a linen of same colour.

LASTING AND FINISHING
This is the later part of the making which we will apply gum to the edges of the leather and insole then use the wooden last to set to client size,my son was picture helping with gumming and bringing last for his dad to use,after lasting I apply gum on the sole and lasted upper then I gum together after 3 minutes to make the palm ready.

THIS IS A JOINT WORK WITH WHICH HE WAS HAPPY TO WORK WITH HIS DAD.
