Beer Saturday from Malta - why we don't have this in Italy?

Good morning Beer lovers!
This episode of #beersaturday is special because it is also about my recent weekend in Malta, where I attended the Dark Malta Festival, a three-day event of goth, EBM and industrial music.
I obviously took the opportunity to visit some interesting places, especially the sea, as a great lover of snorkeling I am.

And so on Saturday morning I went to this southeastern corner of Malta for a swim. The water was quite cold but this also meant that I was the only one swimming, with no other people to get in the way and disturb the marine ecosystem.

Before I came here I went to the supermarket to look for some local products and as usual I realize the difference between Italy and any foreign country. it is true that in Italy we have so many different, typical regional foods, so many delicious recipes and so many artisanal and local products, many more than any other European country. On the other hand, however, many more commercial products arrive to us with a very limited variety.

Take cider, for example. In Italy there is only apple cider. Stop. Maybe you might happen to find some crazy artisanal distiller making cider from pears or some other local fruit. But it's already hard to find apple cider commercially, let alone other types of cider like this one, made with peach, mango and lime! And it is delicious! Light, sweet, crisp, cool, perfect for quenching your thirst after a swim under the sun.

Anyway, I went back to the festival on Saturday night, and among the various bands I attended, one band in particular stood out to me and gave me a crazy charge:

NACHTMAHR

Nachtmahr is an Austrian industrial/EBM one man band founded in 2007 by Thomas Rainer, also known for his work with L'Âme Immortelle. I don't know much about this project, however whenever I attend an EBM DJ set there is always, ALWAYS this song, Tanzdiktator.

I didn't even know that this song was played by the band I was watching live in that exact moment, so you can understand my surprise when they started playing this live 😂 I was just like in that Leo Di Caprio meme
