Before I used to buy the sauce ready made, now I wait until I have fresh basil. It makes such a big difference in taste, that if you like pesto sauce it's worth having a couple of small pots of basil just to make the sauce.

I have almost finished harvesting this box in which I also put another pot with two plants. One came out male, the other is still unknown. I didn't remember to take a photo with the two plants before cutting.
