My Evening Discovery🌺

Hello, friends @liketu community! I hope you all had a beautiful Friday. It's already Saturday from here.Lolz😜 Saturday is always a clean up day for me, a spiritual activity day as well. It is also a day I cook and stock up the fridge for the family for easy access during the week when everyone and everything is always in a hurry. However, I am wishing you all a blissful weekend ahead, filled with much happiness, love, good health and laughter.😊

Yesterday, Friday evening, as I returned from work and coaching my student, I passed by the familiar compound of my elderly friend. He reminds me so much of my late dad; I miss him so much. My dad was my biggest fan and best friend. Anyway, I often go over to help him out with some little chores and clean up his little beautiful garden. Each time I do that, I feel closer to my dad. I have always admired his compound, so I stopped by to greet him. He was excited to see me, of course, and I told him how green and beautiful his compound is always looking. In fact, I couldn't resist capturing a few shots of the lush plants. The experience lifted my spirit, so I decided to share it here with the @liketu community.

What really caught my attention was the beautiful Hibiscus rosa-sinensis🌺, commonly known as Chinese Hibiscus or Shoe Flower. It is usually admired for its large, vibrant blooms and is often used ornamentally in tropical gardens, like that of my elderly friend 's garden.
