HIVE WORKSHOP WITH @ijelady

Hello hivers and spend hbd community, today I was opportune to attend hive workshop anchored by @ijelady. I learnt alot from this workshop and I will be sharing some of the knowledge I gained here.

• Coin Compounding: Compounding is the process of reinvesting capital gain or interest to generate earnings. Or I can put it in simpler terms as the process of buying coins in smaller quantity from our earnings and keeping them for future use. As we all know we have different coins in this platform, most which appreciates in value over time, e.g leo coin, etc. The importance of buying these coins cannot be overstated, it gives us an edge and adds value and additional earning while blogging on hive.

MICRO BLOGGING: Micro blogging is making short, frequent posts, which includes; sharing updates about personal activities, thoughts, etc. Using platforms such as #ecencywave, you can be making short post not more than 240 words, which helps you to stay active on hive. Most times you can encounter writers block, and this can be stressful and mind bugging, making short posts of your daily activities while waiting for inspiration on contents helps us to stay active, committed and updated on hive.

BUYING AND STAKING HIVE POWER: Do you know you can convert your hive and hbd into hive power, thereby making your voting power to be strong here? Buying and staking hive power increases the value of your account and also gives you an opportunity of earning curator reward, voters reward, etc.

STAKING DAYS IN COMMUNITIES: She talked about #wealivecommunity and other communities that have their staking days on 15th, 1st and other days of the month. Buying their coins and staking them and also earning on their staking days increases the advantage we add to hive as a community.

HELPING PEOPLE TO JOIN HIVE AND BEING ACTIVE ON HIVE: Being an active participant here on hive motivates people we've onboarded on hive to be active also. Exploring communities and joining contests helps us to earn coins and points. Communities such as #ladiesofhive #qccommunity #wealivecommunity hosts their weekly contest. Making meaningful comments on post after reading (digesting) the post helps us to be committed in hive. Setting goals and working hard to achieve our goals helps us in this journey as a hiver.
