🎖️ A Small Collection of Badges and Brooches

When I saw this theme suggested in the community, I really liked the idea — so I decided to share a small collection of badges and pins I’ve gathered over time.

I’ve always liked these kinds of accessories. I usually wear them on my denim jackets, and sometimes, for special events, I’ll pin one onto a tie or even a dress. They’re subtle details, but they let you express personality and interest in a unique way.

Although I’ve lost several pins throughout the years, I still have a few special ones — and I’d love to grow the collection. In fact, I’ll be traveling to Europe soon, and I plan to look for new ones that catch my eye.

One of the most meaningful pins I have was a gift from a volunteer program I joined last year. As a thank-you, they gave me a personalized badge with my face on it. It might sound funny, but it was actually a very thoughtful and lovely gift.

Of course, as a musician, I had to include a few music-themed pins: a treble clef and a small guitar — though I definitely need more related to music in my collection!

Speaking of that, one of my favorite music-related badges was a gift from a friend who visited Poland. She brought me a pin from the Chopin Museum. It features a short musical excerpt — I don’t remember which score it’s from, but it’s clearly one of Chopin’s works. Another one I have is the logo of an entertainment company where I worked for a while doing musical events.

I also have a few retro-style pins: Pac-Man, a ghost, and one from the legendary punk band Black Flag. There’s also a tiny one from a zoo in Germany — a fun little souvenir from a past trip.

Even though my collection isn’t very big, I really enjoy wearing these pieces and having the chance to share them today in this community of collectors. I’d love to see other people’s pin and badge collections too — so I’ll be keeping an eye out for your posts. See you next time! ✨
