My definition of being broke

Being broke is not just about having little money it is when you cannot even afford the important things you need in life For me being broke means I find it very difficult to get what I truly need not even what I want Right now I can say that I am broke because I do not even have up to a thousand in my account. When you are in such a condition life feels really hard and sometimes painful When someone is broke they can not afford the things that others may see as normal For me I can only get myself cheap food just to satisfy hunger a bit I can not go for something better I just go for what is available and what little money can buy At times it feels like I am only struggling to survive and not really living

I can tell one experience to show how deep it can be. There was a time when my parents were unable to feed me We did not have enough food at home and I had no choice but to drink water just to keep my stomach calm I remember going to people and begging them to sell garri on debt because we had nothing else That moment was very tough for me It showed me what it truly means to be broke. It is not only about money it is also about the feeling of helplessness that comes with it When you are broke, you sometimes feel like you are left out of life You watch others eat well buy good things and live freely while you are thinking of how to manage with the little you have It can make you feel less than others, but I have also learned that it makes you stronger in some ways It teaches you how to endure and how to manageFor me being broke is not permanent Even though I am in this condition now, I always dream big and believe that I will not remain here forever believe that one day I will have enough to take care of myself and also help others who may be going through the same But for now I cannot deny the reality that I am broke and struggling
