HAVING A SUPPORT SYSTEM

Everyone needs a trusted confidant, a safe space to share their secrets, receive guidance, and find comfort. This could be a friend, family member, therapist, or even a journaling community. Having someone or something to turn to can be a lifesaver, especially during difficult times.

For me, I'm grateful to have God, my mom, sister, and best friend – three incredible women who've been my rock, providing warmth and support. Each of them brings unique strengths: my best friend offers a listening ear, my mom and sister provide tough love and wise counsel, and God gives me spiritual guidance. Whenever I need solace, I turn to them.

Home is where I find peace and love, so I always rush back there after a tough day. There's something comforting about being surrounded by loved ones who accept me for who I am. My mom, sister, and best friend have seen me at my worst and still choose to love and support me unconditionally.

I also journaling and exercise to clear my mind. Writing down my thoughts and feelings helps me process and release them, while I also physical activity like yoga, Meditation running which boosts my mood and energy levels.

Although I used to be hesitant to share my struggles with others, I've learned that opening up to loved ones is essential for building strong relationships and receiving the support I need. Being Vulnerable can be scary, but for me it was liberating. By sharing my fears, doubts, and insecurities with my family and friends,I found that I'm not alone in any of my struggles.
