State of Electricity in my community

God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. Since then, the world has looked beautiful. Light definitely brings joy, happiness, and good energy around where we see it.

When NEPA brings light, there's always joy and good vibes at the moment; no matter how long the light stays, once it's off, we will feel somehow down and still hope that NEPA will turn it back on.

Personally, I also gain strength to work more and harder whenever there's light, or should I say there's a spirit behind this electricity light. Well, I don't know, but something always pushes me to work.

According to this week's prompt, talking about how the electricity is.

In my area there is no ratio; we have light almost every day unless it has a fault. At least in the daytime we still use light 7 hours during the day, and they will still be on it at night, so I can say the light is steady and the bill is huge—20kevery month. They are crazy bills unless you're using a prepaid meter; that's when you're free from the crazy bill.

Has our street transformer ever been stolen before? The answer is no, in my area we have never had such an experience, but we do experience faults from the transformer due to too much load on the transformer.

The transformer in my area is meant for one or two communities, but due to the long process and delay of many years in getting transformers, there's like 4 to 5 communities on one transformer, which makes it faulty frequently, and people living around also are not helping the situation.

Some residents will bypass the light in an illegal way, so it is easy for them to just quickly remove their wire on the pole anytime they notice a NEPA official is around because they don't pay the electricity bill and are still using the light. Meanwhile, all this illegal passing of light is affecting the transformer; it will spoil something in the transformer, which will affect all the community using the transformer.

The chairmen and the excos of all the communities decided to meet and agreed to go back to each of their communities and cut off every house they find using illegal lights, and it did work out because after they did that and fixed the transformer, it has been working well, not having faults every month, just experiencing low current, and it is understandable due to the fact that there is too much load on the transformer.

As for my own community we have been planning to fix our community transformer, it has been intall, put and iron cage round it to prevent it from stealing and poles have been install it just remain the wireing which is going to cost millions of naira if is going to be done by the community and if we wait for NEPA to sort it out for is we will wait forever without getting it done so is advisable for every one in the community to gather and contribute towards cause if we eventually get our community light out of this present transformer it will ease the loads on it and for our community we will not have to experience faulty from transformer or low current and I pray it happen soon with the help and cooperation of the community .

I will stop here on this.

Thank you

This one electricity has two things to offer either Joy nor sadness.
When you see light you will be so happy but the moment is taken sadness sets in.
