Happy new week guys, is Monday evening here so I want to show you least of what I did today.

Monday at my working place is for cleaning up and arranging the work space before we begin the week's work, in the process of starting the week work a customer walks in and wanted to sew Iro and buba which she will collect in a couple of hours so I get to the work .

Please read to the end how I cut and sew Iro and buba( wrapper and top) with lace material it's yoruba native wear, Yorùbá is one of the tribe in Nigeria.

This is the measurements below needed for the style

Out of 5yards material I removed 2yards and 25inches for the wrapper because the person has body.

Then I processed to folding my remaining material by 4 and determing the body measurements which is 50.
So I devided 50inches into 4, having 12.5 inches+ seam allowance 1inches making it 13.5 inches to cut out on the 4layers material DAT have folded.

Then I processed to cuting the neck which I use 3.5inches by 3.5 inches because is lace to avoid over widenes at d neck, and I make it round shape neck

So I use the buyers to turn the neck and emir it down.

Then I proceed to sewing of the hand, I joined the side of the hand together with 1inches allowance.
After that I launch the centre hand and center side of the body( that's at the shoulder) so I sew it together. After I attached the hand to the body I joined the rest part of the body to the down leaving 4inches for slit at the both side.

So I folded the 4inches in to make the slit open.
