At the gate of the palace, the gatekeeper stopped that it was forbidden to enter without court dress. On the other hand, the Hasidim informed the Sultan that Imam al-Haramain had already given the command, now he has made another insolence by wearing modest clothes. The sultan's condition became somewhat worse, but he ordered to come inside. As soon as Raees al-Qudza came to the court, the Sultan asked: Why have you come with this delegation and why did you not wear a court dress?

Qazi Sahib said: "O Sultan! I pray in the clothes I am currently wearing and it is permissible according to Sharia. So when I appear in front of Allah like this, what is wrong in appearing before you? However, according to the constitution, my dress is not courtly and the reason for this is not insolence; On the contrary, I thought that the angels should not write my name in the list of disobedients due to the negligence of a short time and that I should not oppose the order of the King of Islam, so I hastily left the way I was sitting.

The Sultan said: "When obedience to the ruler is so obligatory in Islam, then what is the meaning of preaching against our order?"

The Qazi Sahib said: "The matters that are decided by the ruling of the Sultan, it is our duty to obey them, and the ruling related to the fatwa, whether it is the king or someone else, he should ask me because according to the ruling of the scholars of Sharia, the fatwa of the ruling of the Shahi." is equal.”

When the Sultan heard this speech of the Imam, his anger went away and he was very happy with his courage and honesty and declared that my order was actually wrong and the decision of Imam al-Haramain and the Chief Judge was correct.

Even today, if the scholars are not in awe of the kings and make truthfulness their motto, they will be forced to respect the ruler and by following this method, justice and peace can be established under the sky.
