We have an active Tribe called The BBH Project Tribe on HIVE. $BBHO is the token of this tribe. Bradly (@bradleyarrow) is the mastermind of this project. Like other power-up days (e.g., HPUD, LPUD, etc), Bradly settled on the 20th of every month for the BPUD! The minimum requirement is to power up at least 100 BBHO! Short Diary on Thursday

Thursday, the last workday of the week, was a somewhat relaxing day for me. I consulted only 21 patients in my chamber. There was no emergency case. In the visa medical section, I examined some people who came for the fitness tests.

At home, I had a second round of morning sleep and an afternoon nap. I couldn't walk on the treadmill. Hence, I also couldn't do 10k steps on Thursday (I did only 8685 steps, according to the Fitbit app).

Health Titbit

Alcohol abuse/misuse and pancreatic disease

The pancreas is a major source of enzymes that aid in food digestion. It also produces important hormones, such as insulin. Insulin deficiency leads to diabetes (DM).

Alcohol abuse is a leading cause of acute and chronic pancreatitis. In acute cases, a person experiences sudden, severe upper abdominal pain. However, in the case of a thin, malnourished individual who abuses alcohol, if recurrent upper abdominal pain worsens after eating, it is likely chronic pancreatitis. Approximately 30% of chronic pancreatitis patients develop DM.

Commentrewarder: A System to Reward Commenters

Normally, by commenting under any HIVE post, we receive rewards if our comments get upvotes and the reward is above the dust threshold. Another system has been developed where an author can share some rewards with the commenters. The project is designed to encourage engagement within the HIVE ecosystem. Read the announcement post here to learn the details.

To reward the commenters, the author must set @commentrewarder as a beneficiary. If someone comments under that post and the comment receives an upvote from the author within 3 days, the commenter will receive the reward. The rewards will be distributed in liquid HIVE & HBD after 7 days.
