Northernmost point of the Iberian Peninsula
Hello, wednesday walkers,
For about 10 minutes, I was the most northern person on the mainland of Spain. I visited this poin because I wanted to see the lighthouse. And of course, a little walk along the steep rocks of this point.
The route to this place was already stunning. Beautiful views aling the high clifs of this coastline.
And this is Faro de Estaca de Bares, a lighthous that was build in the year 1850. Nice piece of history. Too bad it's not open for the public.
And behind this lighthouse, there is a small pathway along the steep rocks of this coastline. Look how pretty that is.
And ofcours a selfie as the most northern person in Spain 😅👋
It was not a big walk but it was a very nice location.
