Climbing a 650 steps stairs...
...towards Sanctuary of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Mount of Santa Luzia in the city of Viana Portugal.
Hello wednesday walkers, or in this case, wednesday climbers. I spent some days in the city of Viana in Porugal, and there was a beautiful church on top of the hill above the town. And that sounded like a nice wednesday walk.
In the beginning, I thought it would be a nice walk-up. But when I saw the stairs I asked ai how many stept there were... 650 was the awensor. I can't remember that I took so many steps in one trip, so I went for it.
After the first little corner, I could see far away in front of me, and that was a hard view. It looked like a never-ending staircase.
But the views over the bay and city were very pretty. And it felt rewarding to see that. Also, taking a picture of the view around me aloud me to take a rest. I have as many pictures as you can imagine.
They had put upp a couple of banches on route. But I didn't sit down on them. I saw those doors along the stairs. They let to the tracks of the tram that drove up and down. Yes, I could have taken the tram, but walking is way better.
And the end of the stairs felt like a nice reward.
The church was very big and beautiful.
And I was just in time for a visit. The church was still open.
Here was it that I saw digital candles in a church for the first time. They are going more and more digital.
I was hoping for nice views frome the top of this hill but to bad that the seafog that was rolling in, de city completly coverd. I was hoping that I coukd take a view over rhe sea.
And now I needed to go back down. I could have taken the tram for 2 euros but I took the stairs again. I just took one picture here. I was done with it for that day. A nice panorama of the view from above.

Ooooo, no i didn't. That would have been so cool. To bad I mised that.
Now you have a "excuse" to revisit it! Ahaha
Kidding. Live is to short to revisit places, but I must confess that I love to return to places where I felt good before :)
That exactly, I almost never go back to the same holiday spot. I only revisit nice photograpic locations.
My beautiful photos, best regards
