RE: Word for Android stopped working properly (recent and pinned files disappearing). Workaround: use the new "M365 Copilot" app instead. Has Microsoft shifted its focus too much to AI?

I don't have a lot of experience with microsoft apps for android. The only one I regularly use is OneDrive.
Also no problems with the desktop versions so far.

I do think that many companies are trying to push their AIs a little too hard. I do understand that AI can be very useful in many cases, but just putting an AI in absolutely every application with no option to turn it off can be quite annoying imo.
