The 2025 Gullinbursti 1oz Silver.

  I love the Germania Mint production, it is a mint that always puts so much effort into details. They have a collection called Beast series that I always tried to get some but usually or it is overpriced, or when the price is good, people get there first. The interesting about this collection is that they bring mythological creatures from Norse tradition. And one side of the coin is always complementing the other side, so one half of the best is on one side and the other half is on the other side. Because of that many people decide to buy at least two coins and add them to a double siamese capsule where you can display both sides at the same time. The collection had a 2020 and 2022 coin after a big gap, they release another one in 2025.

  I failed so much in get either the Fafnir, a serpent-like dragon, and Fenrir, the mythological wolf. But I am still waiting to find a good chance. However, the new 2025 release of the Gullinbursti coin, made me happy. To be frank, from the 3 beasts of this collection, this boar was the least that I wanted! But still, the details are beautiful in this coin. This mystical boar was a gift and companion to the god of fertility, Freyir. The myth is that the boar was made of the golden hair of Thor's wife, stolen by Loki the trickster god. Loki decided to sell the hair to some dwarves who forged the boar with this hair.

  The reverse of the coin we see the first half of the boar with its name in there. You can see clearly the fur details on this coin, which I think the artist did a great job on. The coin also brings a reverse proof style .Not sure you guys but for me I always love this reverse proof where the frost part is the background of the image and the shiny part is the art. The other half of the boar in the Reverse comes with the Germania mint symbol, year and the value of 5 Mark. The ornamental patterns in this second half make the art also more complex

  Silver is going up a lot in the last months. It is crazy the value because of that and also because Canada Post got another strike, I decided to slow down a lot my silver shopping. The new normal is buying over 60s CAD. It was a very wild year for precious metals. I think we still can reach 70 CAD per ounce. I bought this coin in May for 63 CAD, and Germania usually has high premiums. But so I would say that I can already sell this coin for more than 70 CAD for sure. I saw people selling Germania 1oz for a bit more than that. Crazy right?

  Adoro a produção da Germania Mint, uma casa da moeda que sempre se preocupa muito com os detalhes. Eles têm uma coleção chamada Beast Series, da qual sempre tentei comprar algumas, mas geralmente, ou ela é muito cara, ou quando o preço é bom, as pessoas chegam primeiro. O interessante dessa coleção é que eles trazem criaturas mitológicas da tradição nórdica. E um lado da moeda sempre complementa o outro, então metade do melhor fica de um lado e a outra metade do outro. Por isso, muitas pessoas decidem comprar pelo menos duas moedas e adicioná-las a uma cápsula siamesa dupla, onde é possível exibir os dois lados ao mesmo tempo. A coleção teve uma moeda de 2020 e outra de 2022 após um longo intervalo, e eles lançaram outra em 2025.

  Eu falhei muito em conseguir o Fafnir, um dragão em forma de serpente, e o Fenrir, o lobo mitológico. Mas ainda estou esperando uma boa chance. No entanto, o novo lançamento de 2025 da moeda Gullinbursti me deixou feliz. Para ser sincero, dos 3 animais desta coleção, este javali era o que eu menos queria! Mas ainda assim, os detalhes desta moeda são lindos. Este javali místico foi um presente e companheiro para o deus da fertilidade, Freyir. O mito é que o javali foi feito com o pelo dourado da esposa de Thor, roubado por Loki, o deus trapaceiro. Loki decidiu vender o pelo para alguns anões, que forjaram o javali com este pelo.

  No reverso da moeda, vemos a primeira metade do javali com seu nome. Você pode ver claramente os detalhes do pelo nesta moeda, que eu acho que o artista fez um ótimo trabalho. A moeda também traz um estilo proof reverso. Não tenho certeza, mas eu sempre adoro este proof reverso, onde a parte fosca é o fundo da imagem e a parte brilhante é a arte. A outra metade do javali no reverso vem com o símbolo da casa da moeda da Germânia, o ano e o valor de 5 marcos. Os padrões ornamentais nesta segunda metade também tornam a arte mais complexa.

  A prata tem subido muito nos últimos meses. O valor é absurdo por causa disso, e também porque o Canada Post recebeu outra advertência. Decidi reduzir bastante minhas compras de prata. O novo normal é comprar mais de CAD$ 60. Foi um ano muito agitado para metais preciosos. Acho que ainda podemos chegar a CAD$ 70 por onça. Comprei esta moeda em maio por CAD$ 63, e a Germania costuma ter prêmios altos. Mas eu diria que já posso vender esta moeda por mais de CAD$ 70, com certeza. Vi pessoas vendendo Germania de 1 onça por um pouco mais do que isso. Loucura, né?
