The 2022 tiger and 2023 rabbit from B.H. Mayer Mint

  Life has been busy and money short! My silver buying completely paused for a while, I am just checking once in a while if there is a good deal appearing around! But still, I have so much silver to show in here. A while ago, I posted about the awesome collection of B.H.Meyer Mint of the Chinese Calendar, and I got my first coin a while ago from the 2017 year of the Rooster , which is the year that my oldest was born.

  I decided that I would try to get the other coins of this mint, and it is probably one of the most difficult tasks since it isn't sold as the same quantities as the Perth Mint or Royal Australian Mint. I couldn't find, for example still the current year of the snake 2025 at a good price. But I luckily found the 2022 (tiger) and 2023 (rabbit). The same seller sold me for 50 CAD each. It was a nice price and I spent only 4 dollars on shipping, so I can say that I paid 52 CAD each. This collection is beautiful and unique. At least the design using different mosaics and silver colors makes me so excited to have this collection.

  Another picky situation that I decided to adopt, just buying the coins in the original seal. This collection is sold in the original mint sealing, which avoids a bit of degradation of the piece. I saw some pieces being sold without the seal, but I decided to pass. Maybe I would open an expectation if I find, for example, a year of the Rat (2020) coin, since it is my Chinese calendar animal, and I am looking for these coins. One observation is that it is so hard to find year of the rat coins. I could get some of the 2020 and one for 2018, but all of them are from Australia.

  It has been almost a month since I didn't buy anything, but I am still keeping an eye open for new releases and good deals with people selling pieces that I am looking for. Well I still don't have the newest Kookaburra and the latest Germania Valkyrie. Probably I will buy them in the Coin Shoppe if no one sells them.

  A vida tem estado corrida e o dinheiro curto! Minhas compras de prata pararam completamente por um tempo, estou apenas conferindo de vez em quando se há uma boa oferta aparecendo por aí! Mas ainda assim, tenho tanta prata para mostrar aqui. Há algum tempo, publiquei sobre a incrível coleção da Casa da Moeda B.H. Meyer do Calendário Chinês, e ganhei minha primeira moeda há algum tempo do ano do Galo de 2017, que é o ano em que meu filho mais velho nasceu.

  Decidi tentar conseguir as outras moedas desta casa da moeda, e provavelmente é uma das tarefas mais difíceis, já que não são vendidas nas mesmas quantidades que as da Casa da Moeda de Perth ou da Casa da Moeda Real Australiana. Não consegui encontrar, por exemplo, ainda o ano atual da serpente, 2025, a um bom preço. Mas, por sorte, encontrei as moedas de 2022 (tigre) e 2023 (coelho). O mesmo vendedor me vendeu por CAD 50 cada. Foi um bom preço e gastei apenas 4 dólares no frete, então posso dizer que paguei CAD 52 cada. Esta coleção é linda e única. Pelo menos o design com mosaicos diferentes e cores prateadas me deixa muito animado para ter esta coleção.

  Outra situação exigente que decidi adotar foi comprar as moedas com o lacre original. Esta coleção é vendida com o lacre original de cunhagem, o que evita um pouco a degradação da peça. Vi algumas peças sendo vendidas sem o lacre, mas decidi deixar passar. Talvez eu abrisse uma expectativa se encontrasse, por exemplo, uma moeda do ano do Rato (2020), já que é o meu animal do calendário chinês, e estou procurando por essas moedas. Uma observação é que é muito difícil encontrar moedas do ano do Rato. Eu poderia comprar algumas de 2020 e uma de 2018, mas todas são da Austrália.

  Já faz quase um mês que não compro nada, mas ainda estou de olho em novos lançamentos e boas ofertas com quem estiver vendendo as peças que estou procurando. Bem, ainda não tenho o Kookaburra mais novo e a Germania Valkyrie mais recente. Provavelmente comprarei na Coin Shoppe se ninguém vender.
