As you mentioned Darwin's evolution is based on natural selection based on the natural environment. In humanity's case is called artificial selection which is human interference of who is going to continue. The one with most assets and resources, while ignoring the poor and those who don't have assets. It is totally different from the natural selection proposed by Darwin. It is the same what humans did with dogs breeding for example
