My wishlist for the holidays: the two 1oz Loki and Heimdall coins.

  I was thinking about posting another item from my collection, but I decided to bring a wishlist that will continue into my wishes. I always say how I love Germania Mint and I am anxiously waiting for the last Valkyrie to arrive at home to show you guys. Not long ago the mint started a new collection, the Ragnarok collection. This collection they always released in one time a 2oz coin with the two characters portraying the event and also two separate 1oz coins with which one of them. The first ones were Haji and Skol, the two wolves born from Fenrir. I posted about it before.

  And they recently released the next items from the collection that portray Loki and Heimdall. I saw the pictures in their Facebook account and got crazy. I thought I will buy them. But the reality became a pain in my heart. A trusted seller offered this week the collection, and the price surprised me a lot. Each 1 oz would be 129 CAD and the 2oz piece would be 569 CAD! In September 2024 when I bought the other 2 of the collection, I paid 61 CAD each! So basically the price doubled!!! The silver spot at that time was 42 CAD and now it is around 68 CAD is this the only cause of that?

  If you think that in the past I paid 19 CAD of premium and now I would be paying 61 CAD, it is crazy. So we can't blame a stop from going up. I also know the seller and I am sure he always bring the most affordable prices that he can. So there is only one explanation. The mint started to get expensive. If you see famous mints like the Royal Canadian Mint 129 CAD isn't abnormal. That's why I stopped buying from them as well. So maybe that will be my future relationship with Germania Mint. At least buy the pieces straight after the release.

  If each piece was 19 CAD of premium like before, I wouldn't think twice. Still, 87 bucks is challenging but I would dive in. Anyway, the collection is nice and now they are bringing two important Nordic gods. Loki the trickster god and Heimdall the god guardian of Argard. The coins also like the first two coins of the series, bring a blackened silver due to controlled oxidation. As always Germania Mint had an awesome design for their coins. Heimdall is waiting for Loki while Loki is going, you see fired arrows in both coins. Well, let's hope that one day I see these coins around with a smaller premium.

Eu sempre digo o quanto amo a Germania Mint e estou ansiosamente esperando a última Valquíria chegar em casa para mostrar a vocês. Não faz muito tempo, a casa da moeda lançou uma nova coleção, a coleção Ragnarok. Nesta coleção, eles sempre lançam uma moeda de 2 onças com os dois personagens que retratam o evento e também duas moedas separadas de 1 onça, sendo uma delas representando um deles.   E eles lançaram recentemente os próximos itens da coleção que retratam Loki e Heimdall. Vi as fotos na página deles no Facebook e fiquei louco. Pensei em comprá-los. Mas a realidade me desanimou. Um vendedor de confiança me ofereceu a coleção esta semana, e o preço me surpreendeu bastante. Cada moeda de 1 onça custaria 129 CAD e a de 2 onças, 569 CAD! Em setembro de 2024, quando comprei as outras duas peças da coleção, paguei 61 CAD por cada uma! Ou seja, o preço dobrou!!! A cotação da prata na época era de 42 CAD e agora está em torno de 68 CAD. Será essa a única causa?

Se você pensar que antes eu pagava 19 CAD de premium e agora pagaria 61 CAD, é uma loucura. Então, não podemos culpar a alta. Eu também conheço o vendedor e tenho certeza de que ele sempre oferece os preços mais acessíveis possíveis. Portanto, só há uma explicação: a Casa da Moeda começou a ficar cara. Se você observar casas da moeda famosas como a Casa da Moeda Real Canadense, 129 CAD não é um preço anormal. É por isso que também parei de comprar deles. Talvez esse seja o meu futuro relacionamento com a Germania Mint. Pelo menos comprar as peças logo após o lançamento.

Se cada peça tivesse um premium de 19 dólares canadenses, como antes, eu não pensaria duas vezes. Ainda assim, 87 dólares é um valor salgado, mas eu compraria. De qualquer forma, a coleção é bonita e agora eles estão trazendo dois importantes deuses nórdicos: Loki, o deus trapaceiro, e Heimdall, o deus guardião de Argard. As moedas, assim como as duas primeiras da série, têm uma tonalidade de prata escurecida devido à oxidação controlada. Como sempre, a Germania Mint teve um design incrível para suas moedas. Heimdall está esperando por Loki enquanto Loki se afasta, e você pode ver flechas disparadas em ambas as moedas. Bom, vamos torcer para que um dia eu veja essas moedas por aí com um premium menor.
