Dealing with other DeFi options outside Hive.

  Lately, I have been talking a lot about DeFi with some other users online. Especially those outside Hive. I hope that VSC brings some interesting options and maybe they can be inspired by successful options that are already very popular in Web3. I have been exploring two different DeFi options, one in the Base Network and another one in the Hyperliquid (HYPE) blockchain. Both have interesting points.

  For those who don't know, Base Network is a type of Ethereum second layer developed by Coinbase. So the basic token there is Ethereum, but the fees, like many other Ethereum second layers, like Optimistic and Arbitrum, are low. We are talking about 1 cent per transaction, something like that. This 2nd layer isn't decentralized, but you can build dapps on top of it. One of these dapps is Aerodrome Finance (https://aerodrome.finance/). That's where the magic happens. During a quest at Layer3, I learned about this DeFi dapp. Their base is the Aerodrome token, their native token. So, as with any LP, you get fees based in the pair that you added, plus while you stake, you get APR with Aerodrome rewards.

  What really attracts me there is the wETH (wrapped Ethereum)-USDC LP. Ethereum is a strong token, with a certain volatility of course, and USDC a stable coin. No one can deny that Ethereum is still the king of alt cryptocurrencies. You can get the wETH tokens by swapping the USDC for them in the SWAP area of the website. The APR is variable in this LP, and the APR is high. Some people would ask me, how can I enter there? You can use any EVM wallet with USDC in the base network (Of course, don't forget to leave some ETH in the base network to spend with fees, I always like to leave 5-10$ available to pay gas fees). My favourite path is using Coinbase to my EVM wallet, the base App (former Coinbase Wallet non-custodial wallet), why? Coinbase transfers USDC at the base network for free to the wallet. If you are bringing money from Binance your money, I would recommend sending it to Coinbase USDC through the Polygon network (only 2 cents of fees, since they charge 45 cents through the base network at Binance). After getting the USDC at Coinbase, send it to your wallet through the base network, maybe too much work to save around 40 cents? Lol.

  The Hyperliquid blockchain option I thanks @vikvitnik to present me. I have been dealing and liking it. The hyperliquid idea is so good, especially for those who look for total independence from Centralized exchanges. They don't sell the token anywhere unless you are dealing with their DEX. But how can I buy it? Simple, you need USDC in the Arbitrum network and load it into their DEX(https://app.hyperliquid.xyz/trade). Imagine if we can't buy Hive anywhere unless in the internal market that we deal with when converting our post rewards, and the only way to inject money is through HBD in this case, it's trickier since we can't get HBD outside of Hive. So you need your EVM with USDC in Arbitrum and deposit into the DEX. After buying HYPE tokens, you get into your EVM HYPEevm tokens that you can use in their ecosystem. This brings the DeFi that I am enjoying to deal with called Hybra Finance (https://www.hybra.finance/?code=9FIAHG). You can see that there is a referral there, because they will have an airdrop, and if you use my referral, you will receive a boost in your account.

  After you are inside Hybra, you can swap tokens like I did in the base network options to fit into your favourite LP. I am very interested in the WHYPE (Wrapped Hype) - USDT0 (Another version of the stable coin USDT). The APR is nice like you can see in the screenshot below, and the rewards come in both WHYPE and USDT.

 There are some good options out there for LPs, but remember that the market right now is very unstable and it will be normal to see your LPs go down and up all the time in the short term. Also I recommend checking the last post of Vik (https://peakd.com/hive-167922/@vikvitnik/orwee-an-essential-tool-for-analyzing-the-best-current-liquidity-pools-across-multiple-chains-ethereum-solana-unichain-hyperliquid-and-more-enes-yw) he shows a tool called Orwee that can be used to track LPs in multiple different blockchains. Also, if you want to learn about Hyperliquid trading, I recommend checking @constanza posts about the topic. The user is getting a PhD in trading on the DEX.

  Ultimamente, tenho conversado bastante sobre DeFi com outros usuários online. Especialmente aqueles fora do Hive. Durante uma jornada na Layer3, descobri sobre essa dapp DeFi. A base deles é o token Aerodrome, seu token nativo. Então, como em qualquer LP, você recebe taxas com base no par que adicionou e, enquanto faz stake, recebe uma taxa de juros anual (APR) com as recompensas do Aerodrome.

  O que realmente me atrai lá é a LP wETH (Ethereum Wrapped)-USDC. O Ethereum é um token forte, com certa volatilidade, é claro, e o USDC é uma moeda estável. Ninguém pode negar que o Ethereum ainda é o rei das criptomoedas alternativas. Você pode obter os tokens wETH trocando o USDC por eles na área SWAP do site. A taxa anual de juros (APR) é variável neste LP e é alta. Algumas pessoas me perguntam: como posso entrar lá? Você pode usar qualquer carteira EVM com USDC na rede base (claro, não se esqueça de deixar algum ETH na rede base para gastar com as taxas; eu sempre gosto de deixar de 5 a 10 dólares disponíveis para pagar as taxas de gás). Meu caminho favorito é usar a Coinbase para minha carteira EVM, o aplicativo base (antiga carteira não custodial da Coinbase Wallet). Por quê? A Coinbase transfere USDC da rede base gratuitamente para a carteira. Se você estiver trazendo dinheiro da Binance, eu recomendaria enviá-lo para a Coinbase USDC através da rede Polygon (apenas 2 centavos de taxa, já que eles cobram 45 centavos pela rede base da Binance). Depois de receber o USDC na Coinbase, envie-o para sua carteira pela rede base. Talvez seja muito trabalhoso economizar uns 40 centavos? Rsrs.

A ideia da hiperlíquida é ótima, especialmente para quem busca independência total de exchanges centralizadas. Depois de comprar tokens HYPE, você recebe seus tokens HYPEevm EVM, que podem ser usados ​​no ecossistema deles.
