Sinuses.
It's been over a bloody week now, and it won't stop.
Last week I was having a good time working, fixing up PCs and laptops, when suddenly my head started to hurt. I asked my boss if I could rest for a while and he was fine with it.
That was only the beginning of this nightmare.
For over a week now I've endured the worst pains of my life, and it's all in the head. Not like in the head as in it's imaginary, but the pain is literally INSIDE my head.
It feels excruciating.
I haven't worked a single day this week. And I only get paid when I work, so this sucks balls.
My boss told me to take as much time as I need off to recover, so at least I've got him on my side and there shouldn't be any repercussions, but DAMN, I just want to get better.
I'll admit it's not too terrible taking a little "vacation" off of work, but when that entails feeling pain 24/7 from the moment you wake up to the moment you sleep, it just isn't worth it.
If I could at least take afternoon naps, but I can't, my body isn't used to that.
Screen time? Been avoiding it as much as possible, but felt like I needed to vent this out somewhere, what place is better than here? lol
Yesterday I went to the central clinic in my small town to see the doctor there. I was hoping he'd give me some real strong shit, maybe even something to inject so the pain would stop. Motherfucker gave me Torsilax and Paracetamol... shit I've been taking for the past 2 weeks already.
So safe to say it's not gonna help at all.
I've got a neurologist scheduled because this is really starting to worry me. So we'll see how that goes. But I just can't wait to get better soon.
I hope none of you ever have to go through this, because sinusitis is a bitch.
That sounds horrible, I hope that neurologist gets to figure out what's up with that, and hoping that you get a better treatment.
Thanks mate. It really is pretty bad.
Sinus pain is indeed very challenging. Do you have any way to get essential oils? Tea tree and eucalyptus are very helpful, you smell the bottles and put it near your nose with a carrier oil like coconut oil or olive oil and it helps your sinuses break the stuff down and get it out.
Also boiling a pot of water and putting your head over it while covering your head with a towel. You are basically steaming your sinuses to loosen up the shit. It then lets you blow it out.
Those are good tips. I've been massaging my face a lot and using the hot towel method.
It's been working so far, all that stuff is starting to come out.
That’s good! I can’t say enough about tea tree essential oil or eucalyptus for sinus stuff. It works very well! It's also very inexpensive to buy.
