Cool about your project, but I don't think you are getting the numbers right for hive repository :-)
Likely using default branch, which is master for Hive. Do you know that hive has at this moment 19 active branches (including develop)? And by active I mean active in September? :-)
As for develop itself:

This branch is 3746 commits ahead of, 3303 commits behind master.

So yeah, please, do not underestimate the power of Hive development ;-)
