Passengers. Dhaka. Bangladesh. Round #108. Portraits
A steaming hot and over crowded city, Dhaka, Bangladesh, A city full of treasure, of wonderful people, sights and sounds unmatched in intensity of anywhere else I have travelled.
The traffic is manic, totally gridlocked, buses, cars, rickshaws, scooters and pedestrians all struggling to move forwards with a purpose.
The buses crammed, where I guess a premium seat is a window seat, or maybe just stand in the doorway, got to keep cool man
I look through a westerners lens, and think discomfort, yet to the Bangladeshi, it is normal. Are we not pampered in the west?

Great people photos. A westernised lens is a different lens indeed. If nothing else one can appreciate what one has. Nevertheless it was a place that was special to you. I felt the same in settings similar to Dhaka when I travelled - especially if the people were nice. It could be overwhelming but there is a lot of passion and drive and friendliness in the chaos. That makes a big difference.
Thank you, yes lots and lots and lots of people on this trip LOL
