FFS I have only just got here. Local and National Governments in some area of europe have started to take a dislike to the income stream tourism brings to their regions. The local populations in these areas (usually neo-marxists), seem to be happy taking free money from the socialist eu union....but not from tourists. But to balance this up there are counter protests welcoming said tourists, I guess it depends upon where you sit on the fence politically.

I agree.😊 Politics really hold the decision in terms of tourism. The street arts are beautiful. It seems they are not in a rush while doing the art and I think it has consent from the government. 😊

cheers @littlebee4, I can understand the locals being anti drunken yobs, but they need to look within, their local governments allowed the multitude of bars and clubs to be built to draw in foreign money, the building of over populated hotel areas, destroying local neighbourhoods, all in the name of greed.

Fuster has the same last name as the artist I mentioned in my post about Fusterlandia, in Jaimanitas.
