RE: The strong Niagara Falls

I remember going to Niagara Falls. We spent a couple of days on the American side, then a week on the Canadian side. You can't see much of anything on the American side. They all face Canada.
However, I enjoyed the American side as I got to go to the island between the falls.
My favorite part was going behind the falls and seeing the "backside of water." It was on the Canadian side in some sort of cave.

Probably to explore all the options is better to go when the weather isn't so cold hehehe I forgot to mention but it was a bit slippery because of the ice in the pavement, and I saw them pouring salt when I was there.
Yes, my husband and I were there in early September. Still warm. We were able to drive to Toronto, too, and go to a few other places nearby. At the time, we lived in Ohio. Now we live in Texas, so it's not as easy to get up there.
