Grateful for New Growth! Garlic Bulbs

Last fall, before the winter snow was falling, I planted a bunch of garlic bulbs and cloves. When I saw the snow and felt the frozen ground, I was sure that the bulbs were done. How could they survive this cold?

I visited the site, expecting bare ground and mushy garlic bulbs, but to my surprise they're growing up great!

I found one of the bulbs sticking out of the ground, so I buried it with some sprouts. I'm very pleased to see this growth and it'll be fun to see how much more garlic our family will enjoy once the bulbs begin to multiply.

Spring is HERE!!! Bless the Most High!

Teach Your Children Liberty from Sin

We encourage parents to teach their children principles of Godliness, beginning with the Word and an understanding who God is and what His Son has done to form a relationship with us.

No one can lay a foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw, his workmanship will be evident, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will prove the quality of each man’s work. 1 Corinthians 3:11-13

Teach Your children Liberty from Tyranny

Second to this is the principle of self-determination and freedom, lest we loose the ability to teach our children the first principle in future generations.

Our children read the Tuttle Twin books, specifically to learn libertarian principles, which most people learn later in life. These books are useful for our family, and yours, to teach children concepts that seem complicated, but are made simple in these books.

I am an affiliate for Libertas Publishing, your purchase will help our family grow financially.

I think garlic could survive a nuclear bomb, it is strong stuff. It will take over if you give it a chance. Great to see spring has finally arrived, but I'm sure that snow may try to sneak back in again!

Yes, snow and cold weather usually makes an unwelcomed visit at least once before summer is in full swing. !BBH

The color of the garlic leaves and a bulb indicates that the current condition of the garlic is very good.

Sir! Try to keep the soil around the garlic soft and rich, keep tilling the soil so that the soil is aerated and the garlic bulb will grow to its maximum size.

It's always a cool thing when you can grow vegetables in your garden. You know that they have grown naturally, unless you fertilize them yourself, of course. 😅 And it usually tastes really good and fresh too!

I've never had garlic from my own garden, more cucumbers, tomatoes and lettuce. But the garlic looks really cool.
