Grateful For Another Day Home with the Family

Today is another beautiful day! We are going through our routine, the girls made breakfast again (what a delight!) and then a 15 minute cleanup. These two things together make mornings so much easier before beginning schoolwork.

Reading assignments and math assignments are at the top of the list. I do a reading assignment with my 5 year old.

She is reading the whole story already and is demonstrating reading comprehension. "A card for mother." Why a cop got the card, I have no idea. Why he gave it to his brother, still a mystery. But I'm glad mother finally got the card.

I love being home, but even if I have to be away for the next few months, it will pay back to the point where I can resume the life that I desire without the stress of money.

Bless the Most High for His wonderful provision. All honor and glory to His Holy Name!

Your kids seem to be enjoying reading. I used to when I was a kid but nowadays, children don't read as much as before because of gadgets.

The new job will require a lot of time away from home, my prayer is that I will be blessed with enough success that I can maximize my intentional time with children and someday (soon) resume 100% time again. !BBH

I can learn a thing or two about good parenting perhaps. I am telling my son to help me all the time in a way it is helping him to develop his own mindset however I am not guiding him to the path which might lead him to great success in his life perhaps. Perhaps I should be the one helping him instead and maybe I am too selfish in a way.
I have heard a lot about you from @savvytester and @savvyplayer I will try to learn from you as I am really slow and dumb best wishes.

Keep your son with you, show him the things that you know and do. It doesn't have to be impressive or admirable, the more time he spends with dad, the more he will respect you, even if he sees you do something dumb (my children have seen me do and say dumb things pretty much everyday), he will admire you and learn to do the same with his children someday. Just keeping your son with you is the act of selflessness that will help him the most and don't worry about the specifics or training or parenting. If God gives you a child and you spend time with that child, you'll know what to do when the time is right, so long as the child is with you at that time.

Family is everything. Beautiful times spent with family is usually memorable and has lasting effects. You're such an intentional parent. It's really commendable and the reward is huge. God's grace to continue keeping it up.
