Tax dollars only pay for flags in governmental offices as far as I am aware.
It the federal government is cut back by 90% I would have no issue with that.
Governance should be on the local level and government should have no hand in education.

But why is everyone so focused on banning.
We really need to focus on what to do as opposed to what to no t let others do.
There is plenty that needs to be DONE.
They ban our symbols and flags.
They just ban freedom. Of all types. And I don't personally see banning freedom back as a good solution.
I always have to remind myself not to become the monster to kill the monster, though I do know that might rarely be necessary.

Yep. I don't have an answer for the problems, but a ban on anything will solve nothing.
Now not having it paid for with tax dollars is just fine in my book, but I would also say don't pay for American flags with tax dollars either.
Or for that matter education.

There shouldn't be any flags in any classroom. Short of that, the flags should be for their nation, state/province/region, and city/town/locality.
This also means no flags like those for Prisoners of War or Red Cross, but fair is fair.
