Progress Is Not Linear

Hello friends, Happy Saturday.
I hope you are enjoying your weekend.

We are in the last day of 2023. As the beginning of the year am sure many persons set goals. It might be here on hive or personal concerns. To some it was a good year and to some it wasn't. Now we would be stepping into 2024 worrying why we didn't achieve all the goals we put down for ourselves and hoping next year will be better.

Setting goals is good but some people set deadlines on achieving things that they become unhappy about when they don't. Sometimes we make progress that we wouldn't even see just because all we have dreamt of haven't come to pass not knowing that progress isn't linear. We want all to come at once and not celebrate the little wins.
Using the trading market for an example. For a trade to hit your take profit it must take the upwards and downward movement.

Progress is beating through the ups and down. Progress is showing up daily, being discouraged and yet not giving up. One of the characteristics of progress is learning from challenges and experiences and embracing it. It gives more opportunities for growth.
We expect our success to come quickly but in the other way it is delayed.
Every time, energy, consistency and hard work are put into something it is not wasted.
