Lessons Learnt This Year
Hello friends, good to have you visit my blog.
It's another weekly prompt of the @hive-ghana contest. Do well to join here, as there's different topics to write about.
We are rounding up 2023 in a few days and we thank God who has brought us thus far. 2023 was a year of ups and downs both personally and in my country but we thank God we have survived it all. Those challenges we faced made us stronger and taught us lessons we will never forget in our lifetime.
This year I learnt to be close to God. I realized that God always answers prayers and hears us and that no matter what situations we are passing through he will see us through it. I also learnt to have faith in God. I learnt to put God first in everything I do and have faith in him.I also realize that thanksgiving brings more blessings. This year I also learnt to put family first. Before I was far from my siblings and parents but this year when I was going through financial needs I know how many times my siblings came through for me. I learnt that family is important and they are actually everything I have got.
I also learnt that hard work, commitment and consistency pays. Yeah you can't be ideal and allow God to bless you. Although there are people working out their ass everyday but haven't gotten something good. This year I realized God blesses us everyday and we should keep showing up.
Giving up is a tool the devil uses to distract us when we are close to our breakthrough.
The moment you decide never to give up you are already a success. You just have to be consistent.
This is concerning my friendship. I learnt not to give myself much to people who wouldn't do the same for me. In any friendship I find myself, I used to be the bigger friends giving calls, checking up on the friends. I later realize that ME comes first and I shouldn't force any conversation or friendship. I realized that not everyone has the same heart as you, and as such as you have a good heart you should never trust anyone because people can change and leave at any time.
Financially this year, I learnt to save. Saving has helped me a lot and not overspending. Also setting financial goals helped me achieve a lot. I also learnt risk management the hard way when I lost money in Forex.
Thank you for reading.
