If My Alarm Could Talk

Every phone has an alarm. Be it a smartphone or just a button phone. I'm very much aware that the reason why manufacturers put alarms on all phones is because they know that time is important and everyone needs to keep to time.
Like they always say "time is money, and a missed time can't be recovered". Yeah every second counts that why we need to always keep to time.
I'm also growing my discipline in that aspect that I will always keep to time. Let my 5:00pm be 5:00 pm without not being any second late. There's something they call African time in my country. When someone says this, it means that if a meeting is set by 4:00pm, people are likely to start coming by 5:00pm or more. It's impossible for that meeting to start at the same time set.

People have lost jobs, opportunities just because they didn't keep to time. It might be forgetfulness though that's why our alarms are there to help us.
Technology has even made it easier that wrist watches now have alarms. You don't need to carry your phone around as your wrist watch can even set an alarm and ring when it's time.

For me, I mostly used my alarm during my exam period to enable me to wake to read at midnight. For my morning schedule I never set an alarm for that because my body is already used to waking up by 6:00am whether I have a class or not except when I am sick.

When I was in secondary school, I joined the school bus so we usually woke up by 5:00am to prepare and have our morning prayers. Due to the frequent schedule my body got used to waking up at the same time. No matter how long I sleep, I must still wake at the same time.
I like how my body got used to it. For me, I think it's a positive habit of mine because it makes me not to be lazy.

I'm sure my alarm would be proud of me if it had a mouth to talk because I always listen to it anytime it rings. Little sounds wake me up so my alarm wakes me up too. No matter how tired I am, I wake up whenever it rings. When I am a little bit tired, I usually snooze and still am ready to wake up.
